Volunteer Role

Judges play a crucial part in our in-person debates. You will evaluate arguments, provide constructive feedback, and help participants grow as debaters. Our judges are experienced debaters who genuinely want to help.

Description: Previous debate experience is preferred (ideally British Parliamentary style, but any experience is welcome). Judges should be encouraging, fair, and committed to supporting participants of all skill levels.

Volunteer Role

Speakers deliver talks and workshops for our online webinar series. If you have expertise or experience in debate, public speaking, rhetoric, or a related area, we'd love to hear from you.

Description: We welcome speakers from all backgrounds who are passionate about debate and want to inspire the next generation of speakers.

Volunteer Role

Not sure which role suits you, but still want to get involved? We always need general volunteers to help run sessions, manage logistics, assist with communications, and support the team on the day.

Description: No specific experience required, just enthusiasm, reliability, and a desire to help POI change lives through debate.

Not sure where you fit?

We're a growing organisation and always keen to hear from people who want to help, whatever your skills or background.
